@Danimal506 I think they either lost Max and he was fired for that and having a car no one but Max can drive, or he was fired to appease and retain Max. Probably the former.

Damn - that would be a new day for the bulls if they lost Max too!
-
Yeah. I think the Max —> Merc/Russell rumor is likely true. But if it’s not it would be impossible to believe Max wasn’t involved here, at a minimum approving of the moves.

Personally I’m pleased that I won’t have to see that constantly whining, weasely maggot’s face any more
No, but really @Lynne, what do your really think about Christian Horner?!

Is the definition of F1 to me. Everyone does it, some more than others
The reason everyone is whining is that F1 isn't a glamorous industry to be in. It doesn't pay very well and there are few opportunities to travel with work.

The only reason why I did not use my preternatural driving/racings skills to bother with a test drive....

Sensible move @Giles, and hey - now you have two boats!

Mad respect for what Horner did as a principal, and he’s a master shit stirrer and troller, which is part of the game to some extent (the likes of Vowles aside).
But he’s also a hypocrite and did something that was bad enough to tear down a dominant team in very catastrophic fashion. For a while there it seemed like every dimension of F1 went from class of the grid to a laughable level of incompetence.
Greek tragic level of downfall, but he leaves RBR among the top handful of principals in F1 history purely from podiums, wins, WCCs, and WDCs.
Also. I just don’t understand why he would mess around on his gorgeous and incredible supportive wife. Who knows what she’s really like but from afar she seems like quite a catch and that he outkicked his coverage considerably (forgive the American football metaphor).

@Giles you may know much more about her than she was in Spice Girls, which is about the extent of my knowledge.

Seems like my unpopular opinion about wearing trainers is less controversial than this thread (or whether Jerry Seinfeld is funny)

To each his own; I think she and Victoria are hotties.
I find the Spice Girls music beyond insufferable though. Their big hit came on somewhere just the other day and I really wished I were temporarily deaf.
