How do we feel about undershirts with these? Required?

@dubj7 I don't plan on wearing one with mine once the temps are high enough. I don't wear an undershirt with my 6oz version ever, personally.

@Oaktavia Got it! Most of the pics I see with them have undershirts and I have been going nude lol. Wife doesn't like the shirt, but I think it will grow on her as I wash after most wears and get some of the indigo turning.

@dubj7 lots of folks will wear an undershirt for sure. To each their own in that regard. If you scroll a little way through this thread, you will see my comparison photos from my new one to my few years old faded 6oz version. The best part about indigo wabash is how light it becomes from lots of wearing and washing, IMO.

@Oaktavia Definitely! That photo was what got me to pull the trigger. I hope the heavier weight of this shirt gets the same results!

If you look closely at your shirt, you will likely see some tiny areas of lighter indigo that have already faded. High contact areas. This will indicate where the shirt is headed.

I have had mine on ice as it was my birthday present from my wife. I'm going to give it a hot soak and wash this evening so I can wear it out tomorrow.

@Oaktavia Yep - collar points, button areas and sleeve openings starting. Here is Nashville, I'm getting a lot of sweat with the humidity, so I think the salt is going to get me some results with some washes soon. Thank goodness for the loose boxy fit to give a little air in it (thus the question about undershirts).

@dubj7 to be honest and might be oversharing a little, but if I am wearing my 6oz one in the heat, I'm sweating like a stuck pig. Shirt is soaked at some point. I usually wash mine after each wear, which has been probably two dozen times over the years.

Finally able to wear mine after waiting until my birthday after this dropped. I was able to shrink it down enough to make it look a bit better. I did not take preshrink measurements. But I recall seeing the waist flair out a bit before hot soaking and washing it in my machine. It fits wonderfully now. I wore it to hang with some friends on Saturday in 85F + sunny heat and it faired super well. I did not wear a shirt under it. I'm still wearing it now after starting to on Saturday. Likely will wash it tonight. Usually with my short sleeved IH button downs, I wash them after each or every few wears. I really love this 10oz Wabash fabric and the cut. I prefer it to the 6oz version, though that one is steller in its own right.

Photos are after two washes. This 10oz Wabash seems to appear more similar to the 12oz version rather than the 6oz. The way the early fades look and how the crispy fabric feels after the wash.

First wash. Been wearing without an undershirt so it was time after about 10 wears. Good as new. Hand washed cold and tossed on the dryer medium for 30 minutes hoping for some shrinkage.
