Picked one of these up during the last drop, never owned an Iron Heart jacket or any selvedge denim jacket period. Should I have soaked it before starting the breaking in process? I’ve been wearing it pretty heavily for about a week and it’s really starting to mould to my body, just wondering if maybe I should
toss it in the tub for a few minutes.

@Mac0607 No reason to soak and you will be fine as you are. Enjoy the jacket!

@Mac0607 I always wash my clothes when they’re new to get the initial creases out from being folded up and to get some of the newness out, but @goosehd is absolutely right, it’s not necessary at all. I just do it for me.

Went down a tag size due to weight loss. Was a bit scary making the call, but I’m glad I did. Here I am at 6ft and 190lbs, wearing an XL. Being a Canadian, I must say this tuxedo is looking good.

The Arms still have creases from being folded while shipped.

Quick question: Is it okay to use a little portable steamer I have to get the creases out?

Does the sleeve length shorten with wear on this jacket due to creases? if so, did anybody care to measure it? Thank you!
