@indigostiff, yes it is cheaper for sure. I can trust in Iron quality, however I am unfamiliar with RRL products, which is why I ask.

eBay find of the day - RRL / Rios two-tone hand-tooled boots - off to the cobbler for rubber soles!
-
@indigostiff nice pick up! Curious as to why you are changing the soles to rubber?
-
@Bums_Fan Just the fronts - I don't like the traction or wear traits on leather - that's all.
-
Ahhh...I understand now. I thought you well changing out the whole sole to rubber.

I’ve got a bunch of RRL stuff, all picked up on eBay or Vinted and it’s all definitely interesting. I’ve had a lot more which I’ve moved on too.
I’ve got these limited edition jeans incoming with a very cool hair in hide patch. I loved the rough out jacket but I shrank out of it so sold that. I’ve got the jacquard denim jacket which is excellent.
I got a steal of a deal with the native hand knit cardigan which was possibly the highest quality item I’ve ever owned. I never wore it because even being based in rural England I felt a bit weird about it. But as an item it was amazing.
I’ve got a few westerns and a few tees which are nice. I enjoy their hoodies as well, and I loved their rough out western boots from last year but they didn’t go to my size.
Second hand I don’t think you’ll go far wrong. Their shirts can be great but not always. Their jeans are almost always at least interesting and always comfortable.

@Daysleepers Nice looking. And yes, it is all interesting!

That cardigan is
. I used to have a pretty large collection of RRL clothing, kind of whittled it down over the last year or two to more staple and forever pieces. Will probably go through again soon and sell some more shirts(XL)
Nothing‘s better than IH for the colder months when it comes to shirts etc…but you can’t beat RRL sweaters and the shirts for year round wear in the southeast US

@northsouthdenimguy it was incredibly made, hand knit, draped incredibly. I do miss it but never had cause to wear it.
The 30th anniversary jacket will never leave me. The only items of clothing I’ve ever had comments from strangers on are that jacket, and a wool/silk/cashmere over shirt by RRL.
I think I get my luxury from RRL you don’t get from many other places.
