Orchestral Manoeuvres in the dark - 1980

Found this Electro vinyl in between my 45 inch, whilst searching for some easy sounds today.
Must have been misplaced for years.

Instantly revisited the simplicity of Electricity.

Felt like I’ve heard The Messerschmitt Twins never before.
Still stoked about the anarchy in Dancing.

Will definitely spin it again in the next days …

@endo It got replaced, at least in the UK by the skulls on a cross cover. My copy has the same cover as yours, but I bought it around when the album came out.

@J-IV the sqwawk level is about what you'd expect but I can appreciate it even more now after finishing the last of 3 shades of blue where they briefly dive into the "free" era

Ornette Coleman is on the approachable side of free jazz, same with most Coltrane. Anthony Braxton and Cecil Taylor are where it starts to get challenging!
