@Chibs those look great indeed. Same as the shirt … OrSlow as well I presume it’s the “used” shade of green?
-
Well based on this thread I went ahead and ordered a few things that hopefully should arrive next week.
I hope the “black” will indeed look like the very dark brown in @Chibs photos above. I went with the fatigue shirt in black, fatigue pants in Black and khaki, (regular fit) and the shorts in green.

@Chibs ahhh, thanks. I just went to Filson to have a look. Looks great, may have to pick one up. For some reason their sizing chart won’t pull up ….

@Chibs Wow, thank you so much, really appreciate it! Those sleeves must be measured from the center back. I think I’ll go large as I like my shirts 30”+ and I’m 6’2”
Tan or green … tough call

@Denimhead-0 said in OrSlow:
I’m interested in the Army Fatigues but even in size 5 the waist is too small (16.73”). I’m a 35 in most IH denim and usually aim for a waist size that’s 17.5+
Anyone ever measured a 5? Seem v. small?

@Chibs thanks for that description of the two. Decided to go with the green. Excited to receive both.

Thanks for the enabling @Chibs

@Chibs this is a really great look, you are rocking it with your posts. I haven't invested in some fatigue pants yet (have nice M&S cargos for now). Been contemplating pulling the trigger on oslow fatigues. Went over to Jp site last night and sold out in size 3 doh!
-
@Chibs I really like them a lot! The fabric is quite unique … a certain heft to it, but I think it’ll wear much cooler than denim. I also really love the color too. I git the khaki and the black fatigues, as well as the shirt.
Thanks again to you for opening my eyes to this brand! I’ll be adding some slim fit fatigues next time around, although I really like how the regular fit wear. The button fly is super cool.

@Brandrea
Yea, they definitely wear cooler than jeans! Especially my 21oz stuff. I really like the slim fit. Not a true slim fit at all though. Fits like 501’s, maybe a bit baggier actually, but probably because I have to cuff the bottoms as they’re a bit too long. I would try on first if you have a brick and mortar store near you. Luckily I have a few near here.
Now that you got the fatigue shirt, what are your thoughts in comparison to the Filson Jac-shirt? -
@Chibs thanks for this. I've been looking at the size chart and size 4 might do the trick, I like around a 34 waist, more concerned about baggy butt issues and potential stretch?
