@Chibs those look great indeed. Same as the shirt … OrSlow as well I presume it’s the “used” shade of green?

Well based on this thread I went ahead and ordered a few things that hopefully should arrive next week.

I hope the “black” will indeed look like the very dark brown in @Chibs photos above. I went with the fatigue shirt in black, fatigue pants in Black and khaki, (regular fit) and the shorts in green.

The shirt is actually a Filson Field Jac-Shirt. I did get the Orslow version in black as well. Quite different from Folson’s.

@Chibs ahhh, thanks. I just went to Filson to have a look. Looks great, may have to pick one up. For some reason their sizing chart won’t pull up ….

@Brandrea not sure which black you went with but I think these ones are the washed black(they are still a little damp on the drying rack) - random tee for comparison

@GraemeE NICE! I looked at that color for the shirt but they were sold out, so I went with the standard black. Hoping it’s that nice black/brown color as above.

Now @Chibs has me seriously considering the Filson Field Jac shirt … green or tan. I need to get out of this thread lol

There you go. I'm a small in the Filson and a size 2 in the Orslow. Filson fit large!

@Chibs Wow, thank you so much, really appreciate it! Those sleeves must be measured from the center back. I think I’ll go large as I like my shirts 30”+ and I’m 6’2”

Tan or green … tough call

I’m interested in the Army Fatigues but even in size 5 the waist is too small (16.73”). I’m a 35 in most IH denim and usually aim for a waist size that’s 17.5+

Anyone ever measured a 5? Seem v. small?

Either way you’re going to love it. I do at least. It comes to you already so soft and it’s a bit thicker than the Orslow. I’m going to eventually do a comparison on my channel. The Filson is more of a shirt Jac - the Orslow is more of a shirt imo. 🍻

@Chibs this is a really great look, you are rocking it with your posts. I haven't invested in some fatigue pants yet (have nice M&S cargos for now). Been contemplating pulling the trigger on oslow fatigues. Went over to Jp site last night and sold out in size 3 doh!

@Chibs I really like them a lot! The fabric is quite unique … a certain heft to it, but I think it’ll wear much cooler than denim. I also really love the color too. I git the khaki and the black fatigues, as well as the shirt.

Thanks again to you for opening my eyes to this brand! I’ll be adding some slim fit fatigues next time around, although I really like how the regular fit wear. The button fly is super cool.

Thanks man! You may actually be okay with size 4. They have buttons on the waist to tighten things. I was in between sizes. The 3 just fit but was tight. The 4 felt too loose but fastening one of the 2 buttons, it’s a perfect fit.

Yea, they definitely wear cooler than jeans! Especially my 21oz stuff. I really like the slim fit. Not a true slim fit at all though. Fits like 501’s, maybe a bit baggier actually, but probably because I have to cuff the bottoms as they’re a bit too long. I would try on first if you have a brick and mortar store near you. Luckily I have a few near here.
Now that you got the fatigue shirt, what are your thoughts in comparison to the Filson Jac-shirt?
