This time of year we get the pink flowers of toborochi trees (Ceiba speciosa) all around town.

In the middle of a sweaty day in my hickory bibs while laying down grass tiles (?) around my yard.

Somehow my yard has sunk/eroded some 20 cm over 19 years and rain water collects right around the building perimeter.
So I’m adding sand and black soil with an outward slant before laying the grass slabs on top.
