These are from late 2019. They did a drop of the service boot with a cap on dainite And I believe they may have been a plain toe service boot on a wedge. I also have the cap one…
Viberg has released ropers over the years in different leathers. I also have a black rough out on a wedge which was a 3sixteen collab

@stitchdown-shell these are fantastic- mind if I ask where you bought them from? I love a 310 with a cap toe, but apart from a few SMUs for specific retailers, pretty much all the 310s produced recently seem to have plain toes.

Ahhh- I saw the boots on the Division Road site but the pics of your pair look so much better than the pictures on the DR site - so much so I didn't recognise them as the same boots. I should have grabbed a pair when I could!

Unworn eBay pick up. Of all the ones I currently have and I’ve had over the years this is my first mini ripple. Super thin, but comfortable will be interested to see how long it lasts?

@FireGX @northsouthdenimguy I have had a mini ripple pair of 2030 Vibergs for at least 6 years, they are holding up nicely. They are worn in rotation of course but seem pretty hard wearing.

I’ve put some serious wilderness miles on these boots in the last year or so that I’ve had them. Other than a fairly steep break in on the most rugged of terrain, I’ve loved them…except the shite “commando” sole on them. The spacing on the lugs are such that pebbles and snow pack and mud just build up and make those conditions awful to hike/ walk in. Plus, the lug doesn’t go all the way out to the edge of the sole and causes a bit of roll off on rocky terrain that can and has led to some ankle roll.
Today I sent them off to Unsung to have a Vibram 100 put on them. My favorite all terrain sole! Have a big fishing trip planned for next Friday. Dude says he thinks they might be able to have em back to me in time!! Fingers crossed!!!

@ZackB they say it’s a one week turnaround once they receive them (and your scheduled appointment time has arrived.)
I told him about my trip and he said he could make it happen. I won’t be mad if it doesn’t happen, but I will be STOKED if it does!!In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...
