@Brock so good!! My mind is made up. I’m going to break mine out soon, give it a soak or two, and start rocking it. Looks like it fades quicker than the broken twill version. Love the texture on the sashiko.

Would you say the fit on this is like the sashiko or broken twill BEFORE a soak?

@Mizmazzle If you’re talking about the high crown of the hat, yes it does have the typical Ship John high crown. I think it will settle a bit over time. But I’ve personally grown used to the way these hats fit.

Just tried the unwashed broken twill on and yes they’re essentially the same hat. But the BT is a thicker fabric and sits a bit taller on my head

Do the bills on these hats hold a curved bill well? I see they come rather flat

@wjw Yes the bills are sturdy. Even after a couple hot water soaks, they can be molded. I prefer mine a bit flat
