I like that tan waxy leather sole boot!  It couldn't look more different than than it does on the website though…a million times better here

Barun - yes they're a much nicer colour in the flesh, but I'm putting these up for sale I'm not really wearing them much.

So, Alden Indy or Wolverine 1k in Black?

I'd go for the 1000 Miles.  Never liked the moc toe stitching on the Indy.

Which black Indy/which sole?
Calf? Shell? Chromexcel?
Commando? Leather?

I have the Indy in a black aniline calf with commando sole and really like them. But they look a little dressy for jeans. I wear them with chinos. They have a little sheen to them.

I think the black chromexcel would be a better choice with denim. With contrast stitching.

+1 it's a close choice but the 1k mile is significantly less expensive (tie breaker)
