IHSN-01 - Low Top Sneakers in 21oz Selvedge Indigo, 21oz Superblack, 21oz White

Wore my IHSN-01s out to a show last night. Didn’t plan on it, but ended up right on the front rail and the pit broke out all around me. Shoes took a beating.

I know many of us love the wabi sabi and like to let things age as they will, but when it comes to sneakers, I like my soles to be clean and white. I was bumming when I got home and they were all gross.

Little toothbrush and hand soap scrub followed by a cotton ball and nail polish remover…good as new!!

Great job! Mine are 2.5 years old and at times I wore them hard, took a beating but I can still manage to get the soles all white again if I want to

For cleaning I throw the sneakers in an empty pillow case and put em in the washer with no spin and low temps, after I cleaned the soles with a little detergent I still have from a free care kit I got when I bought a pair of shoes years ago. It came with a little brush that helps to use the soap

@DeeDee85 I was lucky getting one of the last pairs of the indigo ones and last year found these ducks for a steal on eBay .. shame they did not sell good and became continuous production

@FlavourFade I had the duck ones in my basket on eBay many times and never actually clicked to buy I was too late to the IH party for the indigo ones so never had the chance with those.

@Alex ist the reason for the rejection caused by bad sales last time or because there's not enough fabric to use for something that's maybe too far away from the core production? I don't want too ask too much about things that are not my business but I am wondering if enough people preorder the sneakers would that change anything?

@FlavourFade no its nothing to do with bad sales. IHUK would love to make these again, I suspect IHJP sold them relatively well too. The issue is in production somewhere, but I can't get a straight answer on exactly what

A few pics of my recently washed sneakers. They are 6 years old and this was their first cleanup.

Main reason for the wash was to cleanup the dark spot created by the motorcycle’s shift lever. Didn’t get totally rid of it but they look much less grungy now.
Surprisingly the outside of both sneakers show most fades while the inner bit held onto all or most of its indigo.

@motojobobo So nice! Maybe try a magic eraser sponge on the white parts? If you really want to try and get them clean
