            @SKT what size are you? If you’re an XXL in the western I suggest you buy the work 😉

                @SKT I liked this in the western and the yellow flannel in the work shirt version. Don’t know if that helps but you can’t go wrong with any of them.

                    Ever since getting the 170 when it came out I’ve stuck with work in the 9oz just to satisfy my ocd. Why are you torn exactly? Do you usually have trouble deciding between western and work?

                        @Matt all my flannels, either UHF or 9oz, are westerns…but my body has been changing and my typical size large is feeling a bit snug. I would probably be ok with the “biggest” large and careful washing (in the western). I do love snaps so there’s that…

                        @Tago-Mago ha…not an option unfortunately

                          Dude, I am going through the exact same thing. I just trade 3 mediums for 3 large yesterday. I was lucky enough to find someone sizing down and we went ham. I managed to replace my 309. If I can find a large anny flannel I’ll be in heaven.

                            @Matt this past year my body just kind of went “time to fill out old man” Or it could also be the stress eating caused by teenagers and other unnameable things

                            I’ll probably be redoing all my jeans too switching cuts and sizing. I’ll be taking my time with this part

                              I hear you man. I’ve been doing a lot of pushups and eating a lot of post 8pm junk after taking my “dad time.” I’m making some adjustments on that part so hopefully my jeans can remain. Ultimately having jeans a size too big is manageable with a belt. A size too small is a problem.

                                @Matt I’ve got more than a few pairs of bottoms that are a size (and cut) too small so I gotta figure it out. It’s why I’ve been living in the 822’s …needed the room.

                                Back to the shirt though, I think I’m gonna nab a large western and hope for a big one 🤞

                                  I’m just going full work. The only issue is the large works fit great throughout but for the sleeves. Oh well. I like showing up to the kids school stuff with all the moms and my chesticles are popping.

                                    Rather than go larger, perhaps some exercise and eat 'mo better? My IH collection will be the carrot (or stick) to keep myself in check. All I can say is that at 54, I'm in better physical shape than my 30's/40's. Stationary exercise bike, rowing machine, TRX stuff and better diet. <Insert Ralph Wiggum "I'm helping" emoji here>

                                      @anodyne man this is actually the problem for me. Joking aside about eating, I’ve upped my strength training and I’m about to protein myself out of my original IH sizes at 54 which has been a surprise.

                                        @SKT gotcha ... being an old man now, I don't seem to need to worry about bulking out due to exercise it would seem. I'll probably start shrinking from here on out lmao.

                                          @anodyne I think I’ve been reading too much about losing muscle mass as you age so I started eating more protein and lifting heavier weights. Turns out that’s good for my health but bad for my IH wardrobe.
