@RobeOfTheMagi I used to mess about on skateboards as a kid, but mainly coming at it from years of surfing. Don't think my old knees could handle learning tricks, so it's all about cruising and carving whatever hills I can find (while living in the flattest city in the UK!)

Nice! Arbors are sweet. I cruise around on a Pilsner Flagship. My days at really getting at it are long behind me.

Yeah, the Arbors seem really solid - got my eye on one of their double-drop longboards for some longer-distance cruising in the summer -
My knees are paying for it these days.
Air walk/jump ramp was also a powell peralta deck(Ripper) some killer graphics during that time

That’ll be a cool set up, like to see it once you get it. My wheels stay on the ground, just cruising the streets/carving it up.

Saw northsouthdenims post and remembered found some old pics skating when jus got into selvedge denim on Facebook few weeks ago(haven’t been on in years). First pic back in Burlington Vermont, my first pair of selvedge 2007. Volcom did run with cone mills, they didn’t sell well at all, at the skate shop/park I managed. Got pair of nudies shortly after that, think cut was straight Sven? Little too loose at time for what I wanted. Got way into the super future hype and got pair of APCs right after that and stuck with those for years. Oh also hype bought a pair of 19cm Dior hommes MIJ. I blew crotch out in those skating, like 2nd month. I was so bummed lol but a local tailor saved them and did really good job. I Actually just found them in storage and so back in my collection. Kinda stoked held on to them all these years and cross country move. Was last year or 2yrs before Heidi silmane left Dior. 2nd pic, 2008 back tail rocking pair of cords skate brand I worked for, when 1st moved to SF. Other 2 pics APCs 2008 maybe 2009 -

1st day of 40yrs old, several years ago now. Only thing I’ve got for you. I know I know, skatepark photo = autokook; but it’s all I’ve got for you. Also, no, not in selvage; probably some RVCA pants 🫣. -
