@goosehd I am hoping that the tides turn for the better, but I will not hold my breath. I just feel lucky enough to have been born a Marylander and grew up on that side of the Potomac. Plus, the Maryland border is about two minutes from our house as the crow flies. So we are just barely into the panhandle as it is. I would imagine way down in those hollers it is a much different way of living. I haven't even traveled further than Davis or Morgantown. At least we will have some fun time exploring those areas for future vacations. WV is so naturally beautiful so I am happy to explore the state with my little one(s) when the time comes. I would rather drive into Appalachia than the Eastern Shore of Maryland any day. Fuck 495.

I’ve got an 8 yr old girl & 12 yr old boy, nobody complained!! They even both liked it more or less, and I did too.
No people/speaking, so it was cool in that regard as well…

@Oaktavia I was excited for things like this too. Unfortunately having kids is equal parts nature and nurture, not one or the other. Lucky me… my kids love Taylor Swift and You Tube like every other fucking kid. Despite my singing them The Smiths greatest hits every night at bedtime. Perhaps that’s the culprit.

@Oaktavia hell yeah man, this was my oldest’s jacket when he was just a little guy. Now he’s four and wears nothing but Transformers t shirts. Maybe I’ll get him an Optimus Prime back patch and style him out again

One thing I’ve learned that as much as I try, kids will be kids…they wear what we buy them, until they don’t. Things I would have loved to have had when I was a kid often sits in a drawer…
