Surprise trip just dropped. Katie has to go to PDX for a week in October and the same week just happened to be available for me to take off so if anyone will be in Portland let me know. Other than SE what shops should I check out?

@GraemeE I’m envious of all of you PNW guys. Spent a couple of weeks in and around Seattle and loved every minute of it. If all of life’s decisions were up to me, I would probably be living there…

Although the more I travel and see the world, the more areas I find that I would love to call home. You really are in a beautiful spot in the world.

@Matt totally envious of this trip. We have relatives in Portland and Tigard. Our visits usually revolved around pretty touristy stuff but I loved Powell’s Books, Columbia River Gorge, Hood River, Mt. Hood, Willamette Valley. Love that whole area. And damn there is good beer to be had around every corner

I actually meant that my brother and I used to travel in the back of the van. It had shag carpet and faux wood paneling inside but no seats. Though I’m sure they shared some intimate moments back there. Before they began to loathe each other.
