Some more info on the denim just in from Haraki.

He designed the denim to be super tough, it is extremely tightly woven, and it is also resin coated.  This slows down the fading, makes them windproof and waterproof.  In Harakis words, "perfect Iron Heart style"…..G

Not a great deal.  They are extremely tightly woven.  I will try and remember to measure mine for you tonight…....
