I've only ever appreciated this brand from a distance but apparently they are the latest brand to be gobbled up (or at least a majority stake)by LVMH.....

I think it was one of the heddels columnists who pretty well summarized the lvmh strategy for these type of acquisitions.

They have a precise mathematical equation for how soon they can completely dilute the vision of a brand and alienate the original customer base while still getting a return on their investment

Some of the creases are starting to set in and the indigo sashiko threads are fading. Nothing too crazy yet. I’ll put them back on after i get back from Japan in a couple weeks

I have been wanting a Ringoman for a while and finally pulled the trigger on one from Standard & Strange. Fits great over a tee but should work over layers as well. Def a 2-3 season piece but will be a fun one to wear. Pants are engineered garments.

Pre-wash, these are going to take a rest while I go back to denim..
