IH-777-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Super Slim Tapered Jeans - Indigo

Suggestions on what to do for shrinking these? I ordered a pair hemmed to 33" same as all my other IH jeans not realizing that you more or less need to shrink these at the start, at 33 I have maybe 1 to 1.5 inches of stacking that happens with most shoes so not a whole lot. I think I could get away with .5" shrinkage in the inseam without issue but anything more might get weird. Should I do cold soak and hang dry only for these?

@Ikeaparty Hi man, to confirm you don't need to wash/soak these prior to wearing, however some do choose to in order to remove all shrinkage prior to wearing so people know what they are working with through wear. Totally personal preference whether to wash/soak prior to initially wearing. The inseam is expected to shrink approximately 1.0" with this first wash/soak, however if you are worried about too much shrinkage, I would perhaps suggest cold/hand soak as shrinkage is determined by heat and agitation of said soak and doing so will give you a greater chance of lessening any inseam shrinkage.

After a wash, and whilst still damp, you can hang them from the waist and attach something heavyish to the cuffs, that will dry them out a little longer than just drying them.....

Despite these being hemmed to 33, they were still pretty long, so went with a coldish soak and should be rockin! Just waiting for them to dry, very excited, marks pair number 5 of 777

Post soak pics, saw someone put sharpies in the crotch holes when drying and that helped a lot. Think the inseam is actually perfect, I spend a lot of my day in the house without shoes so if I don't hem my jeans always fray
