Not making it easy to decide between this and the western version. This has the side gusset with chain stitch runoff while the western has the pearl snaps. I’m leaning toward this work shirt.

Anyone pick this shirt up? Curious to get some information about how it wears, if it’s breathable, etc.

Just got one and the fit is typical of most Iron Heart shirts. It's a straight shot from the shoulders to the waist which means if you have a little bit of a belly/dad bod, size up. I'm 55yrs old, 6' and 200lbs and have a decently broad set of shoulders. I like to wear my clothing with some room so the vast majority of my shirts have a 48" chest, in Iron Heart shirts I have to size up to 50 (49.8) in this case which means an XXXL so that I don't look like 50lbs of potatoes stuffed in a 10lb sack around my belly area. lol

The fabric is beautiful. It's not light but it's far from a heavy fabric and feels very breathable. I'm not sure if it's suitable for hot weather in the dead of summer but warm weather should be perfect. With a T-shirt underneath you would be fine until late fall. It's a very versatile shirt and the quality is typical of Iron Heart, in short it is beautiful.

@edgarallanpoe thanks! I bought the western not long after I posted and agree with everything you said. 👍

@jdwaid glad it worked out for you. I've found that the IH Western shirts are cut a little closer to the body than their work shirts which is why I gravitate to the work shirt. But this will definitely find room in my back to school, teaching rotation come the end of August.

This one turned out terrific. At 7 oz it isn’t as light and airy as my three 388s but today if felt fine in Sao
                    Paulo’s 28 degC and 85% humidity.
I really like the slightly more structured fit of this one. Serious contender to end up as one of my top 3 SS favorites.

Malls are looking very Xmassy around here.

This fabric may well end up as my personal # 1 for SS shirts in my climate. Love the ever-so-slight structured feel to it, while retaining breathability. Not to mention the beautiful khaki color.
They are soooo good, I may give up all remaining restraint and buy backups. Would be my first multiple purchase yet on any IH item. Hmmmm…
