@Oaktavia I was kind of in the same boat, minus the already existing jackets, when I bought my 14oz OD. I'm intrigued by the SBG, I'm just not sure I would get it to fade enough. So I'll just salivate over @weftyarn's pair of 888-SBGs and wait for them to be restocked

@Tago-Mago Oh right on that is cool to hear you had a similar predicament. I think i chose the 526J142ib because the denim is familiar and I know exactly what to expect with it too. How is your OD coming along?

@Oaktavia pretty slow. I should have worn it more with just a t underneath. Not much in the way of progress so far. If it fades similar to my 33OD the fades will be more subtle but I actually figured that would make for a cool contrast when I wear it with more faded jeans

@Oaktavia on a more general note, my fading pace is somewhere between leisurely and glacial, but that’s what I like about this whole process - in the end my denim will look unlike anyone else’s. Same goes for yours. It’s what you or I have „achieved“ by wearing our clothes, and that makes these clothes all the more special to me

@Tago-Mago Well put man for sure and I completely agree. We are all here doing the same thing by doing our own thing with the same clothes. OD jackets look amazing with faded bottoms for sure. I think this indigo/black jacket will too before it's faded much. A pair of faded UHR in particular I think will be killer paired with it.

Fit pics with this beautiful jacket. This will now be my baseline for how Type 3s should fit me. It feels damn near perfect. Thanks to @Graham helping assure me that an XL was likely the best option.

What do you think of the 14oz ib? I can't recall if you already had something in this fabric or if it was your first piece?
