@Oaktavia I was kind of in the same boat, minus the already existing jackets, when I bought my 14oz OD. I'm intrigued by the SBG, I'm just not sure I would get it to fade enough. So I'll just salivate over @weftyarn's pair of 888-SBGs and wait for them to be restocked

@Tago-Mago Oh right on that is cool to hear you had a similar predicament. I think i chose the 526J142ib because the denim is familiar and I know exactly what to expect with it too. How is your OD coming along?

@Oaktavia pretty slow. I should have worn it more with just a t underneath. Not much in the way of progress so far. If it fades similar to my 33OD the fades will be more subtle but I actually figured that would make for a cool contrast when I wear it with more faded jeans

@Oaktavia on a more general note, my fading pace is somewhere between leisurely and glacial, but that’s what I like about this whole process - in the end my denim will look unlike anyone else’s. Same goes for yours. It’s what you or I have „achieved“ by wearing our clothes, and that makes these clothes all the more special to me

@Tago-Mago Well put man for sure and I completely agree. We are all here doing the same thing by doing our own thing with the same clothes. OD jackets look amazing with faded bottoms for sure. I think this indigo/black jacket will too before it's faded much. A pair of faded UHR in particular I think will be killer paired with it.

Fit pics with this beautiful jacket. This will now be my baseline for how Type 3s should fit me. It feels damn near perfect. Thanks to @Graham helping assure me that an XL was likely the best option.

What do you think of the 14oz ib? I can't recall if you already had something in this fabric or if it was your first piece?

@pechelman it fits like a glove man. I like that it is shorter too. I prefer to tuck my tshirts in most of the time. I have the western version of this jacket with about 180 wears from a few years ago. I ordered it right when it dropped. I pulled it out of my closet the other day. I'll take photos and post them side by side sometime soon.

@Oaktavia looking phenomenal on you brother!! I am still debating this one, a 33 or the 21oz sbg as my next jackets/shirts project. The indigo black is really something special

@FlavourFade if it were me I'd go with the 33 and one of the jackets. Depends on what you want out of a jacket though to make that decision. What you want it to look like after some wear. The SBG and 142ib look super different after time. Both jackets are amazing. One heavy, one lighter. Grey vs. Indigo...there is no wrong choice.

@Oaktavia yeah you are right I think both are great and I will just decide when the sbg arrives which one it will be. Super hard for me since I want to take a step back and not just get both would you say it feels noticebly lighter than a lefty? More breathable?

A 33 will follow next year too I think but I still have a 62 I want to work on more first.

The 142ib? It's much lighter than a Lefty. It's like a robust version of the typical jean jackets that normies wear. Nothing compares to a Lefty.
