Iron Heart denim are always consistent, clean, well stitched, and built to last. I really enjoy my pairs. I however enjoy slubby, loose weave denim as I feel they have more character and is interesting.

Ive been looking to add a non dark indigo or black pair of denim to the rotation. This one fit the bill nicely. PBJ make some of the finest Japanese Selvedge denim in my opinion. These 14oz Pure Blue Japan SMBL-19 comes in a vintagey Smokey Blue colour is awesome. Kind of a grey, green and blue cast. Blue selvedge ID is always a welcome sight.

Size 5 it is for me both on the Indigo as well as the OD version. The OD is slightly smaller though, could definitely wear a 6 there for a more relaxed fit.

Just picked up some khaki and olive moleskin chinos from PBJ. I’ve never bought from this brand before but these were perfect in all the measurements so I had to do it. My Freenote chinos are too damn baggy and the iron heart ones I want aren’t coming back any time soon so we will see how these are when they come in.

Just picked up a slubby PBJ type 2. Fit is great around shoulders and chest, and the length is perfect for a longer torso. There's slight tightness in the armhole, which may be diff in width and placement relative to IH, but already loosened after a few hours. The fabric feels similar (lightweight, crispy) to IH's 16oz slubby denim.

Finally uploading a pic of the Olive PBJ moleskin trousers. I love these pants. I found the perfect fitting chinos. I’ve looked all over and can’t find the weight but I’d say they’re somewhere between 16-18 oz. They’re really thick. Worn with a Freenote deck sweatshirt

@Louisclsu1 may I ask where you purchased the slubby type 2 from? Most places seem to be sold out in my size but I’d prefer the extra length and hand warmer pockets to the more traditional IH versions..

@flannel-slut yeah they’re pretty damn good. Got them at withered fig if you end up looking for them. And thanks @ZackB! It’s a pain spending a bunch of money on stuff that doesn’t fit how I want
