I know it's each to his own but Jay Kay is an absolute cock. He is to funk music what Status Quo were to rock. Dire. In all fairness though, he is the only person on earth (except maybe Beats) who can pull of the bison AND furry top hat look. Kudos.
i like his music, the rest is unimportant to me ;)…

CAUTION: BABIES MAY COME FROM LISTENING TO THIS SONG WITH YOUR LADY…

As far as punk goes. I personally don't think it gets any better then Leatherface.
-
Mr. Progress by newcomer Ultimate Shines over Sly & Robbie's brand new "Message" riddim, which I produced during my recent trip to JA
Vocals are produced by Bravo, who is one Kingston's inner city foremost producers. Real ghetto vibes here!

Seul - +1 I love a bit of Conflict.
i feckin' love this LP
got to see them in er, '86 or '87, when i were a wee lad. mental gig.and these guys are the (current) masters of D-beat…
-
this, along with the Kvelertak, have been on maximum rotation this year
i even bought a t-shirt.

Wolfbrigade 'In darkness you feel no regrets' - win!..
aye, i have it, and although very good, i reckon it's one of their weaker efforts. they really went up a gear up with comalive and prey to the world.
-
"epic crust" - that's an ace name for a sub-genre ;D…Tragedy, Artimus Pyle etc. fit in there? not heard All is Suffering but they have a track called "Massive Violence" so it must rock
-
Tragedy started as punkrock - that first LP was so good. I actually have the test pressing to 'Vengeance', and almost a complete set of tests for HHIG… Not that much into a LOT of those other bands playing the same kind of stuff (there are tens and tens of bands).
ALL IS SUFFERING had more metal influences, but imho it was as good as HIS HERO IS GONE... You can check one album here, should give you an idea:
