Buco J-24 Double Rider’s Jacket
Horsehide, BlackThe Real McCoy’s J-24 is a horsehide homage to the iconic 1950s Buco Double Rider. Each jacket is made by hand, one at a time, by a single craftsman at The Real McCoy’s Kobe HQ. No detail is overlooked; everything from the zippers to the dot buttons to the nylon quilting is made from scratch to era-accurate specifications.
This faithful reproduction calls on a vegetable-tanned and pigment-finished “tea core” horsehide. The unique tanning process used on this leather emulates the slower methods of the ’50s, ensuring that the jacket will age with all the grace and beauty of a vintage motorcycle jacket.
MA-1 Flight Jacket
OliveThe MA-1 Flight Jacket perfectly encapsulates the lengths The Real McCoy’s will go to in the name of authenticity. It’s made from a custom-produced “Nylon 66”—a top-secret recipe developed to replicate the characteristics of 1950s-era MIL-SPEC material. The nylon has a tough yet smooth hand, with a high shine and impeccable wind resistance. A cotton-wool pile interlining and genuine wool ribbing combine to make this a true cold-weather jacket.
Cape Shoulder Sports Jacket
NavyThe Cape Shoulder Sports Jacket is an inspired amalgam of tanker, bomber, and Harrington styles. It’s a slightly cropped, boxy number that gets its name from its unique yoke detailing. The jacket features an insulating gold rayon quilting, with wool-nylon blend trimmings at the cuff, collar, and hem creating a flush and comfortable finish. Further era-authentic flourishes include a 1960s front zipper and nickel-plated, rhombus-style pocket zips.

U.S. Army Military Thermal Shirts
Olive & NavyA cold-busting duo of heavyweight thermals, here in navy and olive. Modelled after standard-issue U.S. Army cold weather gear, their honeycomb knits provide great structure and insulation. Most contemporary sports tops simply place their gussets over existing material, but The Real McCoy’s take the long way around, creating a more robust and shape-retaining garment in the process. Constructed using traditional cotton sewing thread, these scarlet tees will mellow to a lived-in, vintage hue as they wear in.

17oz Cotton DuckIron Heart’s riff on the utility and aesthetics of the humble CPO is back for another year. The IHSH-189 is a work shirt/CPO mashup cut from a 17oz duck fabric. Built to take a beating and look all the better for it, the shirt features two chest pockets up top and a set of slash pockets at the hips. Branded copper snap buttons provide an added touch of ruggedness.

Bryson & Alamo StylesWe’ve got two beautiful shirts from Indigofera’s AW24 collection: the Bryson Flannel in Black Check and the Alamo in “Greek Pitch.”
The Bryson is a rugged and roomy entry into the work shirt category, cut from heavyweight cotton flannel, brushed for extra softness, and finished with two large chest pockets and a set of urea buttons.
The Alamo is a yearly favourite of ours in a new garment-dyed “Greek Pitch” green colourway. It’s a weighty shirt in a discernible cotton twill. The garment-dye treatment creates a lived-in feel and a subtle, worn-in look that will develop over time.

We’ve restocked Studio D’Artisan’s 15oz SD-108 and 14oz SD-901 styles. The SD-108 features a relaxed tapered fit, while the SD-901 comes in a straight fit. Both are unsanforized but have been one-washed to eliminate shrinkage and any associated sizing guesswork.

Our Goodyear-welted Bernwood logger boot now comes in a choice of Chocolate Hydro Nubuck and Black Chamois. The latter is a tough yet velvety hide from Chicago’s Horween Tannery-rich in natural oils with a lovely matte finish. The former is a premium top-grain leather that’s undergone a special “hydro” tannage to create a lustrous, waterproof finish.
Our Stephen Chelsea Boot also returns in a new hairy suede from the UK’s Charles F. Stead tannery. Easy on the eye but built to take a beating, the Stephen’s coarsely textured hide is bolstered by a watertight Storm welt construction.

Crafted from custom red-line selvedge denim woven with long-staple Zimbabwe cotton, these jeans boast an earthy brown cast that will age much like a classic Levi’s blue jean. The pocket bags are made from surplus satin—a nod to the every-stitch-counts resourcefulness of the war era—and the jeans are finished with all-yellow constructional stitching for a signature pop of contrast. Unsanforized but one-washed, so no further shrinkage is expected.

Indigo/BlackIron Heart’s Modified Type III Trucker Jacket puts a contemporary twist on an Americana classic by incorporating a slightly longer body, a slimmer fit, and subtle hand-warmer pockets. This IH-526J-142ib version is cut from mid-weight indigo/black selvedge denim. The Flat Head Shinki Double Rider
Horsehide, BlackThe “HW004” is The Flat Head’s latest Double Rider style in a newly-developed, 1.3mm Shinki horsehide.
The leather is treated start to finish at Shinki Hikaku’s workshop in Himeji. The hide is veg-tanned using a secret recipe of natural bark tannins to replicate the ageing process of ‘50s-era jackets. Beneath the deep black surface of the horsehide lie notes of earthy tobacco brown that will emerge as the jacket breaks in. So unlike the black-to-grey ageing of chrome-tanned leather, this teacore hide will develop nuanced patina that’s more reminiscent of vintage post-war pieces. Truly a one-of-a-kind jacket.
