@MassiveThighs For me personally, I have tag size 33-36 jeans, and medium - XXL in shirts/jackets. 95% of those fit me the way I like/prefer because I trusted the measurements. The 5% that don’t fit is because I went with tag size.

@MassiveThighs yes I think you should take a jacket and a pair of jeans that you love and measure them and use these to compare them with the indicative tables, very often not only does my size vary from item to item but also from batch to batch of items. Of course you will probably fall within a range of 2/3 sizes and not all items are suitable for all physiques unfortunately (at least in my case, I often have to give up because it just wouldn't work on me
). But this is also part of the game and in any case there will always be something new coming out that will make us lose our minds

@Luijim78 thanks. Looks like I’m an XL in the 526PJ and XXL in SLBod. I just got my XL 526pj and it fits much roomier than the XL SLBod that I had. Pretty sure it’s a different batch like you said and variance across sizing.

Switched my XL to XXL. For some reason the measurements I received is way off from what I just measured(smaller measurements), but it worked out lol.

I am so glad these are out of stock! Saw this today at Gosport and loved it and now loving it even more after reading comments and pics. Note to self - I cannot get a fourth type 3!!

@Mizmazzle I picked one up just before Christmas after getting to feel the fabulous texture at the Rivet & Hide store launch event. It's like the UHSF of Type 3's! So soft and comfortable to wear, especially indoors during the colder days! I hope over time I can achieve a similar evo result to @GTPowers !

@IH-GARY dude I agree the texture on this denim looks insane. I love the idea of it being so soft and comfortable too.
I’m looking for a jacket that has some nice drape and heft, but also crazy comfy. I’m curious how warm it is? I’m looking to wear this only over a tee and hoping I can get away with using it as a lighter spring/fall/ cooler summer nights type piece.

@Mizmazzle I'd say it's more of a Spring/Summer piece - I wear it now over a hoodie but I can see myself wearing it over a T Shirt once the warmer months come round

@Mizmazzle how warm it feels is subjective but I think this should give you what you want. I find it quite versatile - it gets more use in the warm half of the year (over a tee or a shirt) but I also use it as a shirt substitute under a warm outer jacket in winter.

Just posting an quick update here. I’ve had this for about 2.5 years. I wore it pretty heavily during the first year, but not nearly as often as I wore my jeans. I’ve always been a fan of the texture. After washing it in the washer for the first time recently, the slubbiness has definitely popped a bit more.

@AdamJ thank you! This was my first and only OD piece. Admittedly, I bought it without doing much research on OD, so I was a bit disappointed at first when I didn’t get any high contrast fades. But it definitely has grown on me. It’s a nice change of pace from my IB jeans.
That being said, this will probably be going to semi-retirement, and most likely replaced by a lefty.
