@GraemeE - It's compilation that DJ Yoshizawa Dynamite did together with Chintam, to represent the alphabet of Wamono grooves. I am certainly not an expert, but i know DJ Yoshizawa so i was happy to found this record at a thrift store, and its a great score. Really cool grooves. Its essentially 70s jazz funk dance music, with a japanese twist. highly recommended easy listening.

Nektar
made one year after Birth Control’s Hoodoo Man, this beautiful record named ‚Remember The Future‘ in 1973…Nektar are at the edge of ‚German Rock‘. Founded in 1969 in Hamburg, all four members were British.

At this time in the early 70‘, there have been some beautiful labels around, driven through some crazy producers.
But that’s a story to be told later.Announced some weird stuff, hidden, lost and found, reproduced and totally heartbreaking.
Perhaps this. …. but look, read and hear yourself. -
@GraemeE - yes, born and raised in Zagreb

@GraemeE - the music scene here was always quite focused on the local market, meaning, there were for sure a lot of very good punk rock, new wave and post punk bands, but all of them had lyrics in Croatian. Neighbouring Slovenia has Laibach - they focused their art on the foreign markets and they adapted well. If you dont know them definitely check them out. I'll think about other recommendations as well. The language of the lyrics is the biggest issue i think. For sure that there is a great number of eg Spanish bands, but i couldnt get myself to listen - since i dont get the lyrics.
