@Oaktavia Ha yeh for sure man, I wanted to tap out after 3 minutes. But like with all of them you get 'numb' to the pain. Thankfully we never have to get our throats tattooed again!

Currently in Sydney and got a new tattoo to combine my love of the Simpsons and being a lawyer.

Hey all…curious how many of us keep their arms shaved to help their tattoos pop more??

When I finished my first sleeve I never really shaved my arm. I do have fairly hairy arms. Then when I started my second sleeve started keeping the hair shaved back on both and have fallen into preferring it that way. Curious how others roll.

@alexxedge love the colour scheme! Are you adding any other colours for the rest of it or sticking to black/red/yellows?

@Mizmazzle first session was about 3.5 hours of actual tattooing and we did all the outlines. Session 2 was 2.5 hours of actual tattooing and we did the entire eagle. The goal is to do one whole anima, each session. Next one will likely be the Snake. Steve is super fast, and very efficient, which makes for a great time.

@DeeDee85 keeping it as traditional as much as possible. Reds, yellows, greens, and black. Steve did a color treatment when he was prepping for it. It was nice and simple and really popped. I’ll post more after my next session.

@Mizmazzle I also have hairy arms and I don't shave them to make the tattoos more visible. I like the natural, muted look more and hate the time when the tattoos look brand new. I think the hair helps with that and also I don't have the time to constantly shave my arms
