So much of my favorite music on the last few pages Sturgill, Billy Strings, Nick Drake, the Dead, and current favs King Gizz. The new Gizz record Flight b741 is so damn good, and it's their 26th! Very stoked for their upcoming tour...
Any of you Nick Drake fans read the recently released book "Nick Drake: The Life"? Just finished this morning, highly recommend. By far the most comprehensive look into his life. It's not necessarily a happy book to read, but it's a must for Nick Drake fans.

@tody checked the last band I haven’t seen from that stack off the list a couple of weeks ago.
Metallica was a holdout for all of these years, worth the wait for sure.
Good memories from all of those bands. -
@Tago-Mago same. wouldn't be able to decide, neither on album or song level. if you take it down to song level, it's Linoleum vs 21st Century Digital Boy.

Cranking it right now @Tago-Mago - will report back!

For those into heavier music check out Mutually Assured Destruction. The “Hexer” ep they released earlier this year is awesome to get a taste of what this band is about.

I remember there being a few black midi fans here. I was gutted when they announced their separation a few weeks back, but now Geordie Greep has announced a solo project launching October 5th called The New Sound, with Holy, Holy as the lead single.
Looking back, I think it was Greep's influence on the band that really caught my interest and imagination. He just has such an idiosyncratic, whimsical and surreal approach to songwriting, and I have no doubt that this new release will rival black midi's best output
