As to the topic at hand, this is probably the other "must have" shirt for me this year. I was unsure about the with of the wale on the corduroy at first, but I think the extra weight and the softness will make this feel wonderful to wear. The color is perfect, not too dark ,but not to light, and with lots of character.

This F/W is a great looking release, and there are probably four items that look great to me, with two of them being "must haves". The IH team should be really proud, there are lots of interesting and unexpected items.

I just noticed that these shirts have snaps instead of a button closure on the collar.

The 235’s are the same. I don’t know what the determining factor is (because H said so?), but the snap suits my grey serge

Because H said so, is right! and it just works, such nice, heavy and thick fabrics, a little less pliable than a UHF just makes a snap over a button hole a no brainer.

The 14 wale corduroy doesn't seem to have the same kind of sheen, not sure if i'd prefer that... I'm sure the wash would dull it, but i think i'm still on the fence about the fat wales. damn do i love a corduroy shirt tho
