I wear a 21” silver ball chain with some GAH pendants. They make a glasses loop but I never have any problems just dropping it right on the chain. I also switched to progressives to avoid having to take them off all the time. Nowadays I have some nearsightedness so no need to take them off much anymore.

Snapped up some Maui Jim Kenui at a good price online. Relieved that they fit quite good.

@Giles Kenui, frame shiny translucent light pink, lenses super thin glass Maui rose. They are glass lenses.. so a bit more scratch resistant, but not ideal for active sports where there can be impacts.

You should be the model for them. They look a bazillion times better on you than the product images

My problem is that just about everything I do is an unintended impact sport

I'm looking for retro styled eye glasses that don't cost a fortune. I've got to many expensive habits already. Looked at JMM but $$$ anything similar? Effector was a possibility but I read they're very narrow. I'm a large x large frame. W i d e face. Currently bored with mine. pic for reference. IH type III in the shot. 14oz

The lenses are great and although they are heavy, I don’t really notice that when I’m wearing them.

I had them shipped to my friend who was on the boat with us last week, he lives in France. He liked them so much, he bought a pair for himself

@Giles curious if you got your pair of Kenui shades from Bassol Optic. If so, was it shipped to UK and were you hit with any import duties? My wife is eyeing my recent pair and they suit her, but might grab her the pink/tan version. Bassol Optic are quite a bit cheaper than anywhere in UK, but I’m cautious that I’ll be hit with massive charges that would make it simpler to just stick with a UK retailer.
