@SKT thanks. I also have the 25 in the 777 cut and so far I’d 100% agree with your assessment. 21oz for me has the nicest fades. Too early to tell with the 14oz, will be interesting to see them develop

@Tago-Mago it’s taken me a while to get there, but I think I’m firmly in the “21 OG have the nicest fades” camp. It’s subjective of course but I really love how they keep slowly evolving. I’ve got some 777-21’s from 2019 that I’ll try to get some shots of and post this week.

@Tago-Mago here is my pair of 777-21’s. I’ve had them since 2019 and they’ve been worn and washed a bunch. They’ll be needing repairs in the next year I think. I love ‘em.

@GraemeE ha…I guess I kind of was holding out. I think I always took the 21’s for granted, like they weren’t as “special” in the fading department as say, a pair of UHR’s or XHS’s. But I’ve come around and understand why the 21 is the flagship for a reason.

Similar amount of wear on each (six months)

Standard washed roughly twenty times, Overdyed washed five times.

@SKT still plenty of life in both pairs too.. My next pair will be XHS, but this 18oz is definitely my favourite denim I've ever owned from any brand!
