@SKT I think those are called June Beetles or a Cockchafer (yep) which are types of scarab beetles. As for the spider maybe a crab spider?

I'm sure these are quite common, but I've never noticed a 'reverse ladybird' like this before.

@Oaktavia it's called a Harlequin ladybird. Apparently they're invasive to the UK, and more toxic than the typical variety.
