IH-555S-SLB - 16oz Slubby Selvedge Denim Super Slim Cut Jeans - Indigo

Yes agreed, I like to know why things are happening when it comes to these clothes and their characteristics. I had never heard of the indigo bonding poorly to cotton and that's what's creates fades and then also gets the transfer dye out easier. I usually take a deep dive on new hobbies so this is all great knowledge. Next purchase is a wabash vest so I'm currently reading through that thread!

Love the evolution of these. Bad boys. Taking them down to Florida for a break from the cold.

Beautiful GAH setup @Pipeboss713 !
Now my question becomes, do I give up my trusted and dependable GAH loop buddy for this looker?
-
First post around here (so I hope this works!). Been wearing these pretty consistently since…last February maybe?

-
@goosehd ha, you really got in there! Now that the 21s restocked, these are going to take a bit of a break and get sent off for repairs.
-
Love the contrast stitching on these. The 555s is definitely my IH fit. Now I'm deciding between the indigo 25oz, 21oz or these to rotate with the 14oz ib.
-
Hoping they come out with the OD version of these

Didn’t know they came out in the 555!

Hey IH crew, on the product pictures, only the 555 cut has vertical stitching on the patch preventing a belt going behind. Is that the case, or are some of the pictures out of date?
-
@goldstone0 we've not updated the images on these since the last restock, which was a while back. The crew will check out the current stock shortly!
-
@goldstone0 The 555S-SLB jeans features stitching on all four sides of the patch, so it's not possible to thread a belt behind it im afraid.
-
@JoshC thanks. Is that the same with other cuts?
-
@goldstone0 555 and 888 are sewn down on all four sides the 634,666 and 777 are sewn down on two sides to allow for belts to slide through.
