IHSH-295-IB - 14oz Selvedge Denim Western Shirt - Indigo/Black

So my story is I had one in my cart for the entire sale and @spleef_oner finally bought the last large freeing me up to not think about it any more………. That was the plan but fomo kicked in and I was able to snag the last large from @Iron-Heart-Germany Thanks a bunch to them. So glad I didn’t miss out on this run and can’t wait to wear it this fall. I can tell it’s going to be one of my favorites.

Wore my 295ib around the house and I just don't get it. The measurements are nearly identical to my ihsh 33 that is perfect(both 3xl). A smidge longer in the back. Yet, it feels incredibly small. The bottom button is barely under my naval. Should I return it? Will it drape better after being worn a lot?

@CosmoSix5 I would be surprised and I have no previous experience with that shirt,but I don’t think that a shirt described as feeling incredibly small,will eventually drape,or in some way fit to your liking. At the end of the day,if you’re not comfortable wearing the shirt you’re no going to wear it and at that point you’ll take more of a loss on the resell than the current return shipping cost. I know we all hate when this happens,but occasionally these things just don’t work out. Good luck with whatever you decide. It happened to me once,and I just returned the shirt and moved on.

Is it small as in tight? Or short in the front. I got mine 4xl which is my standard size and feels very similar to any other 4xl i have from IH.

Def shorter in the front than the 33

Ultimately its a decision you have to make but if you post a picture wearing it i am sure you will get some awesome feedback from the forum members.

@CosmoSix5 I’m not really sure as to what you’re concerned with as I think the 295 looks/fits a little better than the 33.

@CosmoSix5 i get what you’re saying…the 33 and 295 are totally different animals. But the fit on both look great to me. The 295 feels much heavier than the 33, more than the 2 oz. difference would suggest. I think you’ll be happy when you start breaking it in

Snagged a 295 during the sale and it has sat "Stacked" as I waited to return from some travels and decide what snaps to go with. Decision made: Pearl Snaps. Thanks for the help @Kirk .....The stack is released!! Should be here in lightening fast time!!
Now, time to clean the house, finish building that shelf in the kitchen, fix the planter box, dig up that rotted mailbox post, replace that squeaky faucet handle...all the things that will make the wife happy...that should lessen the blow of the brown truck dropping off the green bag.

I fully endorse the pearl snap pimp job on the 295 @Mizmazzle, obviously! Look forward to seeing the fit pics. I’m going to give this shirt the attention it deserves come fall.
