I haven't listened to their post Suziki stuff. This reminds me, he released an album with Omar Rodriguez Lopez (The Mars Vota) semi recently in 2007. It is called Please Heat This Eventually

Ah! I knew I recognized that name. That is one of the only Can albums I have heard actually. @olblue used to play it during our undergrad.

Apologies if I've shared this before but I had a single, but memorable, experience with Suzuki maybe 20 years ago.

He was being dropped off at a small music festival and his assistant was apparently unable to procure the necessary "herbal supplies" that he required.

I happened to be the only one in the green room at the time and his assistant asked if there was anyway I could help while they scrambled to locate the necessary supplies around town.

We spent 30-45 minutes going joint after joint with a total of 4 words being spoken the entire time.

Damo: "like rice paper?" (Referring to my rolling papers)
Me: "yup"
