Six yards of mulch to spread on the gardens. Would have been easier a month ago before everything started growing.

@SKT Agreed! Love how it contrasts with the green of most plants and really compliments each other the best in my opinion. I tried red one time and it didn’t look very good at all especially after a few months.

Pro Tip: This is the first year using a 6 tine/prong pitchfork to move/shovel mulch. Best tool I’ve found to do the job (by hand).

@doubletee I’m also curious about the phone camera setting your wife used for the beautiful flower pics you posted a couple days ago. Any tips you (she) can share?

Sorry guys. It was portrait and vibrant warm setting. Good for macro and flower shots. Added the settings below, hope it helps.

This seems like the appropriate place to post this - probably my favorite bounty of late spring are mulberries. I planted this Pakistan Mulberry tree ~ 3 yrs ago and it is prolific I have another variety that hits late summer

I admitted defeat and finally hired out the last of the yard cleanup from the flood last winter. We needed appx 6" of compacted dirt/wood chips removed from around our raised beds and fresh chips layed down

@TENDREL I’ve always used large rocks and gravel to eat up space but may not be practical depending on size of planter.

@TENDREL I've used stacked log sections in the past but that's kind of dependant on whether there is a tree that needs to come down on your property or nearby
