@Mizmazzle yeah! I grab everywhere in that part of the world. Always been quick and reliable for me!
-
@Mizmazzle Yes, we used Grab for some of our rides. It’s also good for figuring out prices ahead of time, so at least you know a rough idea of how much it should cost when talking to taxi drivers.
We also got our phone SIM cards at the airport. Cheap and convenient compared to Canada.

We’ve made it to Da Nang!! Really liking it here. We decided to spoil our selves for the first few days as we adjust from the jet lag. 18.5 hours of actual flight time and a total of 24 hours travel time. Phew!!
As soon as we hit the ground it was straight to the closest seafood shack at midnight!!
Fancy ass hotel for so so very cheap!!
Our first friend we made. Stumbled into a small back road beer stall and met Lee. Lovely human who insisted on buying all our beers as we sat and talked about philosophy and the Vietnamese Buddhist calendar for hours!!!

Envious @Mizmazzle! Enjoy the trip. The haircut looks great, you look young(not that you didn’t before)!
-
@Mizmazzle Jelly! I wanted to go here too! Looks like a great way to start your trip
-
@october-rust thanks buddy. Our new friend Lee insisted that I look just like Paul Walker from the Fast/ Furious movies. My wife found that hilarious hahah
@Fadez we’ve really loved Da Nang. Kinda glitzy like a SE Asian Miami I’ve heard it described as. Haha.

@Mizmazzle beautiful pictures, have you commissioned your denim suit yet!?
I ate Bahn Mi every day for breakfast when I was there... such a unique taste that just can't be replicated outside of the country.

@Mizmazzle so nice to see you in these places. Loved vietnam so much and really want to get there again!
-
Pretty awesome place, eh! Loved Hoi An at night with all the colourful lanterns and ambiance. Would love to go back again … where are you off to next?

Also, today marked our one year anniversary. So, to celebrate, we went spelunking 7km into (14km round trip ) Paradise Cave in Ke Bang National Park. We hired a guide and were the only people in the cave past the initial 1km tourist area. It was insane!! The pictures don’t do it justice. At one point we had to swim in water over neck deep for 50 meters to get to the next stretch of the cave. Unforgettable!!!

Great photos @Mizmazzle Looks like a lot of fun!!!
Cave adventure is probably best date idea ever. Great choice for the anniversary. Congratulations!
