If you get a chance to read " straight Life" its a good book...autobio from Art Pepper.

@GraemeE Yeah - it was on accident if I remember correctly. He thought he was getting clean and then come to find out he was in this cult group.

I have been blessed to spend my life in a city with a decent jazz radio station with passionate ( if not obsessive) djs who like to include little snipits of info with their selections.

Dude that’s what I’m talking about. I’m a local member of my jazz station.

They used to play Marian Mcpartland piano jazz where she interviewed jazz folks. I stumbled on the Bill Evan’s one and I was hooked ever since.

Finally found time for some records!
Look what I found on the shelves..

It sounded a little off, which is odd because it’s a Japanese pressing. But after looking at the label again - I was hella wrong!

Had no idea it was a Spanish pressing. What a nice surprise! Don’t know how I didn’t spot that when I first picked this up a few years ago.
