Unbuttoned snaps have a little jangle but they are usually not noticable when moving or walking normally. There's a spring ring inside the female button that makes it lock on that is making the noise.

My first OD IH garment, from the good people over at Rivet and Hide Manchester.
Layering example with IHSH-33-IND under.
Bought to layer/use as a light ‘jacket’ but also seems to work as a straight up shirt with a tee under as well - what a garment!
Initially tried my usual shirt/UHF size (XXL), which was fine but wouldn’t have been able to layer, so went went up one size which can even accommodate a UHF under if need be.
Loving the aged look/feel to the buttons from the OD process. Have a feeling I’ll be throwing this on a lot!
