Question, for us warmer climate dwellers (I live in Los Angeles) would the IH-526J-142 make more sense? Probably wouldn't wear the jacket much in the summer anyways, more of a Winter/Spring/Fall option here.

@Spencer35 They're both pretty breathable but generally, yes if you're in warmer climes the lighter option is better.
Can easily throw a UHF on underneath when it gets cooler!

So I was all prepared to get the 526 SLB slub version of the type III and then I see amazing pics like this which make me think maybe I should get the 526PJ instead. Your jacket really looks incredible. -
