I’ve taken the Viberg PBs on two hikes so far. The back stays need to be broken in a bit more. But about five miles each hike so far and wearing them to walk the dog after work. I’m super impressed!! Hoping the liner won’t be too hot on longer summer backpacking trips.

Thanks @Mizmazzle they really are wonderful. Regarding your hiking boots, they are great, but IMO there is never a last one, not as long as you keep hiking.

Idunno I think you can rebuild a boot with the right welting, so as long as the upper remains intact there’s nothing stopping you from never needing another boot of that sort again. Which is from a sustainability perspective a good goal.

On your pictures they are much darker than on the website. That's why I said they look a lot like my dark rubber Essex 2030

Yes Essex and Dublin are very similar at least; I don’t know how Rubber changes things.
