So Real Japan Blues was a part of The Flathead group that ran into financial difficulties a few years ago…and Pure Blue Japan was a different group altogether.
Is Japan blue the reincarnation of Real Japan Blues, a new entity altogether, or has been separate from the beginning.
So F’n confused and would like some help.

Pure Blue Japan (PBJ) is a stand-alone company owned by Kenichi san. He and Haraki and good chums.
Japan Blue is not a reincarnation of Real Japan Blues (which as you say @goosehd was part of The Flathead empire). It is a relatively new brand set up in 2010 and is part of the Collect group, which also owns Momotaro......

Question for those that own the Sashiko Coverall Jacket: Does it shrink after washing in hot temperatures? A shorter sleeve length would be great post-wash.

@cityofdelusion really can't say. Only recently started to wear it again after years of neglect
and don't even recall if I washed it ever. Also: I have the opposite problem (borderline too short), so no washing planned or necessary. -
