I was on the fence because my UHF collection has gone crazy. I already bought 3 this year and vowed no more until the next go round. I decided to pull the trigger because I didnt want regrets later about missing out on something that might not be available again. Definitely no regrets. I love it!! I am so happy I bought this one. Firstly I love the contrast between the red stitching and dark fabric. I am so happy with the feel of the fabric. It is a bit different to my other UHF`s. it feels a bit more substantial or a little stiffer. I am not sure quite how to explain it. Its different to the others in my collection. I haver worn it every day since I got it. If anyone is on the fence and wants something a little different (not just in color) to add to a UHF collection I highly recommend it!!! Now my main problem is how to smooth it over with my wife

Gave this about 5 solid days of wear including a couple of sleeps and it was feeling a little scratchy, almost like a wool shirt. Gave it a wash and it's feeling just like any other UHF now. So glad I went with this one from the batch of ODs. Detail here against uhr.

I should say, I might have gotten the white balance totally wrong on this picture; it was done while wearing green tinted sunglasses by someone who is more than a little color blind, which is why the denim (uhr) was left in there for a color check.

Regardless, what the picture does show pretty accurately is while this shirt reads as a dark / black'ish flannel with a pattern from normal viewing distances, it really has subtle / not-so-subtle details that pop when up close. It's really becoming a favorite.

I once heard it said that when you get something new everything else becomes less valuable. This shirt is the first thing that's ever made me feel that way as it has definitely vaulted to favorite shirt status. Thereby throwing a monkey-wrench into my planned Winter shirt rotation. This shirt checks so many boxes for me. Fact that it looks good with my CHIEFS hat doesn't hurt either. Couldn't resist!

I can't wrap my head around how over dying red produced such colours, but I love it so I'll just accept the wizardry...

@Heavy_blue that’s my favorite part, that the non natural fibers of the stitching stayed their true red and didn’t take the dye.

I have worn this to sleep in every night since it landed. Lots of dog hair on it, I tried to remove most of it. It seems to be fading and has not touched water since I have had it.

@T4920 yeah even my buddy Brent who also has the same shirt had to do a double take when he saw it in person. Asked if I washed it. Nope. Also I have no idea how that one photo has a white background. Here it is fully. @SKT it's been cold in this WV house so that helps.
