Seriously from the second pic looks like it's just happening at the front? I think the fast hooks on your boots are doing it.

Options 1. new boots  2.cuff your jeans 3. take your boots to a cobbler and change hose hooks to blind/exposed eyelets.

Any way to repair these? It seems Iron Heart and Redwing don't get on.  :o
Less than 6 months wear BTW.

i have exactly the same fraying on my IHs from the Iron Rangers.
it's the fast hooks. (front of the hem is above, btw). but I won't bother/repair it.

The denim is so tough and the pocket opens are tight.  Even with the heaviest twill that we can sensibly use, if the person uses the front pockets regularly, there is a tendency for the twill to give up.  On the Devils Fit and the DC4, because they are a tighter jean we have incorporated a tape at this point in an effort to increase the life of the twill

Use your BB flash pocket to cover your stitching, Alex… Just shove it in your front pocket, and use 2 cms to cover your stitching, and shove your Sebenza's clip over it...

It's the only way to wear it without causing damage… At work I pull my knife hundreds of times/ day so my options are limited... Practicality > looks.

                                      and re-sewed it with poly-thread.
