We have a Japanese stroll garden here that does a really nice holiday event called “Gardens Aglow”. I think they string up over 200,000 lights throughout the garden. We take the kids every year and it’s become one of our favorite traditions.

Pre-Christmas theatre trip with my sister and brother in law this year (technically an annual celebration to mark my dad’s passing) this year combined with an early Christmas dinner in Covent Garden. No food pics: I just couldn’t after my sister asked if I was one of those people!

Whipped lemon crème fraiche, crispy
lilliput capers & cucumber ribbons

Roast Turkey Crown with
Redcurrant & Cranberry Stuffing
Baby roasted potatoes, honey glazed parsnips &
carrots, braised red wine cabbage, brussels sprouts,
pigs in blankets & a rich turkey gravy

Vanilla & Grand Marnier Crème Brulee
With an orange butter shortbread biscuit

Except I didn’t eat the sprouts because they’re evil

@twin I saw this as a memory on Facebook from a few years ago. It's the flashing on one of the buildings around Weevil Yard, but I think that I edited the image to create a Christmas tree.
