Morgan and I love Christmas. Getting new Christmas records is one of our favorite traditions. Going to get our tree in a bit and play our new holiday albums!!

@TinMan that’s a beautiful receiver!! I have an SX-850. My dream receiver is the SX-1250. How does the 950 sound? I sometimes wish my 850 had more power. But I have it down in a small listening room in my basement so it works well for that space.

@GraemeE we played that one first while decorating the tree. After many glasses of wine and a few shots of bourbon lots and lots of ornaments, and all the new xmas albums (the ventures being my favorite of the new batch) …put the new Kyuss album on and turned it way up!!! So damn good!!!

@Mizmazzle ita the only vintage RSX I have ever had. 7 or 8 years ago, took in my dad’s old pioneer turntable for repair. The guy was liquidating and I picked that up for 300.00 bones. Best 300.00 I ever spent! It’s got plenty of power I ran some b&w 703 no problem. In middle of remodel and my listening room is in disarray. Your marantz is a beauty, pride and joy no doubt!

I have small mix of music, vinyl and cd. I have always loved 2CH listening. I also use a lot of Apple Music for listening anywhere and everywhere! My listening session and current rotation was getting stale. Been scrolling through this thread and shouting at Siri all day.

The cover made me think it was probably cheesy eurovision type music so I didn't buy it but I can always go back

It’s Austria Pop from the 80’.
Music is far away from the stuff you usually post, text and rhymes rather simple.

Well then I'm glad I didn't buy it.....
There was a dozen or so albums that looked similar on the shelf.

I did however buy a German pressing of this one - I like his music although it could also be considered fairly cheesy depending on your perspective
