@GraemeE , for the krimson king , i paid 5200 yen, only reason i got it is because its a A grade uk polydor . Until i find a uk pink island. For stone crazy i paid 1320 yen and for damn right i got the blues i paid 3300 yen . So i could say the price is very reasonable for some good condition records.

I was just listening to Steven Wilson's memoir and he was talking about how Tokyo's his favorite place to shop for records. Said everything's in pristine condition and there's a lot of rare stuff that was big in Japan and scarcely released elsewhere. I think he said at one place he ended up buying over 200 records, haha...

@Aetas as much as I enjoy Steven Wilson‘s stuff, I couldn’t get into that album. The new album on the other hand is a return to form in my opinion

As I’ve seen him live with ‚To the bone‘ and several times with Porcupine Tree, this new to me still shrink-wrapped LP was more an impulse buy for a bargain. Now I am curious 🙋‍♂️.

Went on a record hunt today on my trip to New Orleans. Saw James Singleton last night at the Maple Leaf and was lucky enough to find one of his albums today. Course, TJW is a must when down near the swamps!! And a rare early pressing of this absolute Kyuss classic to satiate the collector in me!!

@Aetas it took the the live recording from the Royal Albert Hall for me to get into his "To The Bone" material, so maybe the same will happen with "The Future Bites". Song of Unborn is one of my favourite Steven Wilson songs, especially this rendition:
