@Oaktavia I bought them secondhand, they are in excellent condition, I saw similar buttons in models for Indonesia, the denim does not look 21 ounces as indicated on the patch, perhaps some kind of lightweight version. the seller explained that this is a collaboration. but the workmanship matches the true iron heart

Edit...and I don't put a lot of faith in the "collaboration" story to explain all of the red flags.

@goosehd I paid $200 for them, but again, judging by the quality of the seams, denim, salvage edges, it seems like this is some kind of special version

Ask what the "special" collaboration was. If it was a lightweight collab, there is virtually zero chance it would be stamped XHS.

And we used those bronze unbranded fly buttons on quite a few different models, so that does not mean that they are fake.

to my non-expert eye, that looks like 25oz denim. Picked out arcs, right stitching and construction, branded stamps on rivets, etc.

If you were to fold these up as if they sat at a store, how thick are they? Can you weigh them? Do you have other IH jeans to compare that to?

Real 25oz is a really chunky fabric and about ~2x as tall when folded as my 21oz'ers iirc.

unless the prontos are wet, the 666's are resting on the table, or those 2 jeans are a vastly different cut/size, that lower weight is a red flag.

Any chance those could be 14oz'ers? I dont recall that denim being so hairy though.
Clearly someone's picked out the pocket arcs already, it wouldnt surprise me if they picked off the thinner fully sewn patch and replaced it with this mismatched one. Any chance you can see any remnants of stitches there?
