My garage is empty. My longest single day ride was 740 miles from Knoxville Tenn. to Cranford,NJ on a Yamaha Roadliner. We got to the hotel about 5 and had about 160 miles to go,and we just didn't want to spend another night in a hotel.

Planning a trip to Tenerife in March. Unsure which bike to rent.

Enfield Interceptor 650 cc

Enfield Supermeteor 650 cc

Ducati Scrambler 800 cc

what do you think?

@endo How many km’s do you plan on doing total and what condition is your back in? The more aggressive the seating and style of bike will limit both of those for longer km days.

Also, how much and what kind of gear (clothing) are you bringing with you?

It'll be fun driving in the sun, no special gear needed. Mountainous (vulcanic) island, lots of curves. My back is fine, and I'll have my love on pillion.

@endo Two up and I would pick the middle bike (Supermeteor). Better riding position for both of you.

Riding solo with twisties and I would pick the scrambler.

Me too for the scrambler. Test rode it this summer and had lots of fun on this bike.
If not, the Interceptor ist just such a classic.

that's why I'm leaning towards it, or the supermeteor for comfort, or the the scrambler for its power.

so it's basically style vs comfort vs fun, hmmm
